Our journey began when Doyle and Philene David moved
from Iowa to Colorado, bringing with them a dream
and a determination to build a farming legacy.
Starting with just a sheep and a cow, they took a
leap of faith by mortgaging these animals to
purchase our first piece of farmland.
Today, Blue Barn Farm delivers premium products
across the United States and into Mexico. We embrace
challenges such as water conservation and stricter
food safety policies by adopting innovative
practices, including exploring hydroponic systems,
drought-resistant crops, and farm-to-table
opportunities.
